Camera Operator (School Photography Team)

We are hiring Camera Operators to join our school photography team. This is an entry-level photography position focused on creating a great experience for students while capturing high-quality images.

Position Overview

As a Camera Operator, your primary responsibility is simple but important:
take a great photo and make the student feel comfortable and confident.

You will work under a Team Lead who manages the technical aspects of each photo session. Your role is to operate a single station, interact with students, and ensure each subject has a positive experience.

This is not a highly technical role—we value attitude, reliability, and people skills above prior photography experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a camera station during school photo sessions

• Greet and engage students in a friendly, encouraging manner

• Help students feel relaxed and confident to capture natural smiles

• Scan student data accurately into the system

• Take consistent, high-quality images following team guidelines

• Set up and break down photography equipment

• Assist with general session flow as directed by the Team Lead

• Perform basic image selection and cropping in the studio

• Reliability and punctuality (early morning start times required)

• Attention to detail (especially when scanning student information)

No prior photography experience required. We will train the right person.

Schedule Expectations

• Early morning departures are standard

• Must arrive at least 5 minutes before scheduled departure time

• Work is project-based (school photo sessions)
